The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is a motorsport circuit located near Francorchamps in the province of Liège, Belgium. It hosts every year the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix and the 24 Hours of Spa endurance race, as well as other national and international races. At the crossroads of Europe, the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps resonates with a thousand and one fabulous stories from the heroic times of the automobile since the early 1920s. To say 'Spa-Francorchamps' is to immediately visualize a circuit sitting in particularly incredible surrounding nature in the middle of the Belgian Ardennes. Particularly appreciated by drivers because of the great variety of its layout, its nickname 'toboggan of the Ardennes' comes notably from the famous central point of the circuit called 'Eau Rouge': it is a steep uphill section followed by a unique corner imagined in 1939 in which you need a very 'big heart' to go through without lifting your foot from the accelerator by a single millimeter! Des pistes de course bondées, des participants non homogènes, des temps d'arrêt causés par des groupes on / off et une logistique inférieure à la normale sont quelques-uns des aspects négatifs des trackdays que nous avons personnellement vécus. Nous voulions améliorer cette expérience de manière significative en organisant nos événements de manière plus personnalisée avec des participants partageant les mêmes idées pour passer un bon moment sur et en dehors de la piste.
