About the circuit
View circuit pageThe Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is located in Montmeló, north of Barcelona, in Catalonia. Built in 1991 on the eve of the Barcelona Olympic Games, it should not be confused with the Montjuïc circuit located within the city of Barcelona itself, which hosted the Spanish Grand Prix from 1969 to 1975. Montjuïc was closed the same year following a tragic accident that caused the death of 5 spectators after Rolf Stommelen's Hill GH1 literally flew over the barriers... The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is primarily known for hosting the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Catalan MotoGP Grand Prix every year. With its long straights and varied corners, it is also used for numerous tests, making it one of the circuits best known to drivers. (Wikipedia)

Trackrat Club a été créé pour atténuer le déficit d'activités du circuit de qualité en Catalogne et en Espagne. Nous ne cherchons pas de clients en raison de leur statut économique ou de leur voiture, mais plutôt en raison de leur attitude et de leur capacité sur la piste. Nous accordons une grande importance à la formation, au respect et au bon comportement et, normalement, à participer à nos événements, les intéressés doivent passer un processus de sélection. Cette façon de faire nous a apporté beaucoup de succès et il y a plus de 30 trackdays que nous avons organisés en trois ans dans divers circuits en Catalogne et en Espagne comme Castellolí, Alcarrás, Calafat ou Los Arcos.
