About the circuit
View circuit page1 hour south of Poitiers and built in 1990, the Circuit du Val de Vienne (also called 'Le Vigeant' after the name of the commune where it is located in the Vienne, Poitou-Charentes region) is renowned as one of the most technical circuits in France. The Circuit du Val de Vienne acquired in 2008 the only characteristic it was missing, namely a high top speed. By connecting two straights to obtain a continuous acceleration of nearly 1,000 meters, the maximum speed exceeds 280 km/h. Beyond competition days, there are many 'trackday' days organized each year on this magnificent circuit... (Wikipedia)
