The Albi circuit was built in 1959 to host the Albi Grand Prix, replacing the Les Planques circuit which was deemed too dangerous. Located 70 km north of Toulouse, in immediate proximity to the Albi aerodrome, the Albi circuit offers a flat and very fast layout thanks to several straights, one of which features a chicane.
