Since 1958, the Charade circuit has been located 10 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand in the Puy-de-Dôme department. This legendary circuit, which racing champion Stirling Moss described as 'the most beautiful circuit in the world', formerly hosted international races such as the French Grand Prix on an original winding (52 corners!) and mountainous 8 km layout. This incredible layout built around ancient volcanoes has been shortened in recent years, but it continues to feature several sections with elevation changes of more than 9%! (Wikipedia)
